Danceboy

The musical project Danceboy is the initiative of Dutch DJ and producer Kevin Willemsma, originally from Leeuwarden.

Founded in 2009, it gained momentum in 2011 with the release of the Dance EP on the Mental Madness label. This release met with some success, notably thanks to its extended mix and a mix of RainDropz!.

Over time, Danceboy built a reputation through several remixes featured on compilations, developing a unique and instantly recognizable sound characterized by high energy and the integration of hardstyle elements, which allowed it to establish itself as a full-fledged component of the hands up scene.

The artist performed live at notable events such as Pumpkin 2016 in Oberhausen or Dance Revolution in Switzerland.

Kevin Willemsma is also active under other aliases: Silver Nikan, Hardbangerz, Kevin Portez, and is part of the duo Jump & Nikan.
