Dance Nation

Dance Nation

Biography

Dance Nation is a Dutch trance music project founded in 2001 by songwriters, producers and DJs Rob Janssen and Brad Grobler.

The Dutch singing and performing duo Sean & Kim have been the project’s on-stage faces since their first major hit, Sunshine. Dance Nation is regarded as one of the Netherlands’ most famous dance duos and is internationally respected for tracks like Dance, Words and Great Divide.

In 2004 the group had to use the name “Double Nation” in some countries due to legal proceedings.

In 2010 Dance Nation experienced a revival with the arrival of a new singer, Sandrine. After the success of the summer single Great Divide, the group released the club track Surround me the same year, a colder, darker piece that highlights Sandrine’s vocal talent.
