Biography
Dance 2 Trance is a German electronic music duo formed in 1990 by Rolf Ellmer and Dag Lerner (also known by his stage name DJ Dag). Their commercial breakthrough came in 1992 with the single “Power Of American Natives”. The duo also produced classics under the aliases Peyote and The Odd Company. Among their notable tracks are “We Came in Peace”, “Hello San Francisco”, and “Take A Free Fall”. Their collaboration ended in 1995: Dag Lerner pursued a solo career, while Rolf Ellmer focused on his other main project, Jam and Spoon. Their musical style is primarily associated with trance, progressive house, and eurodance.
