Biography

Frank Tomiczek, born December 30, 1968, is professionally known as Da Hool. Hailing from Bottrop, Germany, he began his DJ career in that city and established a reputation in the German electronic music scene from 1990 onwards.

His early productions include tracks such as B.O.T.T.R.O.P., It's a Dream Song, and Rave Nation. In 1996, he released the track Meet Her at the Love Parade, reissued in 1997 by the German label Kosmo Records. This single was an international success, selling over six million copies. It reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1998 and also charted in Germany (number 4), France (number 4), the Netherlands (number 11), and Ireland (number 7).

Da Hool continued to release music that charted in the UK, including the single Bora Bora (reaching number 35 in 1998) and Meet Her at the Love Parade 2001, a new version of his previous hit, which reached number 11 in 2001.

The artist is also active under numerous aliases and name variations, reflecting the diversity of his projects. His aliases include DJ Hooligan, Central Love, The Lovely Element, Hool's Experience, Paranoia X, Schröder, Da Experience, Frank Tomiczek, Freakstylaz, Hooligan's Loud Culture Concept, Hool's Hardcore Experience, Klubkillaz, Cruisin' Hool, S04 Soccer Boy, Techno-House Sekte, and Schröder Und Seine Freunde.
