Biography
Corynne Charby, born Corinne Charbit on 12 July 1960 in Paris, worked for several years as a top model, appearing on the covers of magazines such as “Inch” and “Lui” and modelling worldwide.
She made her film debut in 1981 in “La chèvre” alongside Pierre Richard and Gérard Depardieu.
In 1984 she began a singing career with her first single “À cause de toi”; her biggest hit came in 1986 with Boule de flipper.
She withdrew from public life at the end of the 1980s. Her song “Pile ou face” later reappeared in the film “8 femmes”, performed by Emmanuelle Béart.
