Cindy Ortega
Biography
Born and raised in Santa Ana, California to parents from Morelia, Michoacán, Cindy Ortega discovered her passion for music as a child, performing at local festivals and winning first place on two national TV contests, “Cuánto Cuesta El Show” and “Facilísimo.”
Influenced by Linda Ronstadt, Juan Gabriel, Selena, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion, she developed a vocal-driven approach and emotional storytelling aimed at connecting English- and Spanish-speaking audiences.
Guided by songwriter Ismael Camacho and later collaborating with Leticia Ascencio and Javier Ceja, Cindy’s songwriting focuses on authenticity, resilience, and heart. After pausing her career to focus on family, her love for music reignited with the viral success of Esta Navidad.
Her single Si Él Fuera marked her return, and today Cindy Ortega continues with songs that celebrate identity, love, and finding your voice again.
