Chris de Sarandy
Biography
Growing up in the Southwest of England, Chris de Sarandy began playing in a band at 14. Shortly before university the band split, and his desire for a more mature sound led him to write his own music. In his adopted home of Berlin he met producers and musicians and was discovered and signed by the Embassy of Music label.
On Know Your Worth he presented ten electro‑acoustic pop songs written over the past four years; a coming‑of‑age EP.
The years 2023/24 were pivotal: the EP release, the summer hit Cynical with Safriduo and twoolors (10 weeks at No.1 on airplay charts), numerous live performances with a German electro house duo, and a nomination for the 1LIVE Krone. His second radio single Magic Moment with Glockenbach reached No.2 on airplay charts.
With Rain (No.50 airplay) and Hurts Like This, Chris is taking further steps as a successful pop/electronic newcomer.
