Biography
Celia (born Cristina Ioana Socolan) is a Romanian pop singer, born on 14 October 1984 in Deva, Romania.
She studied at the Sigismund Toduţă music high school.
In 2005, she was a member of the group Elegance for one year.
She began her career under the stage name Celia in 2007, and is known for songs such as My Story, Soapte and Love 2 Party.
She is the daughter of Ioan and Rodica Socolan and has a younger sister named Andreea.
In 2013, she held a civil wedding in Australia with Ardeli Ancuţa (her spouse’s country of origin), then celebrated a religious wedding in Romania. The couple have a son, Angelo Ioan, born in 2014.
