
Billy More
Biography
Billy More, whose real name was Massimo Brancaccio, was an Italian artist and drag queen, born on 3 February 1965 in Milan and who died on 14 August 2005 in the same city from leukemia.
The Billy More project was launched in May 2000 when Brancaccio met producer Roby Santini at the Zip, a well-known club in Milan. The team also included composers and producers Alessandro Viale and Roberto Gallo Salsotto, with the vocals on the tracks provided by singer John Biancale.
Discovered by RSDJ in a Milan club, Billy More released the first single, Up And Down, in 2000; the track reached number one in Spain before spreading across the rest of Europe.
The subsequent singles, The New Millennium Girl and Come On And Do It, were also successful, notably in Italy and Germany. Other notable tracks include Try Me, Boom Boom, Loneliness and Gimme Love.
