Bijou
Biography
The project Bijou is the stage name of Elena Turcu, a solo artist who emerged a few years ago with the single Imma Show You.
The track Karma, written by Adi Cristescu, confirmed her entertainer talent across television appearances and concerts.
In 2015 the release of the video for Another Try, produced by NMC Productions, marked a new phase of maturity focused on voice and message. The song was entered in the National Selection for Eurovision and, although it did not reach the final, it earned strong appreciation from the press and online audiences.
She followed with further TV appearances and live performances, showing that Bijou is first and foremost a project centered on a singular voice and memorable, personal songs.
In September 2016 she released the single Aproape Împreună, accompanied by a video directed by Marian Nica.
