B.B.E.

Biography

B.B.E. is a French-Italian electronic music project formed in 1996 by producers Emmanuel Top, Bruno Sanchioni, and Bruno Quartier.

Inspired by both trance and new age music, the group is often associated with the dream-house movement.

The trio, composed of techno experts, achieved immediate success with their first single, Seven Days and One Week, released in 1996.

The track became a club hit from Ibiza to London and climbed into the Top 10 of charts worldwide, even reaching the Top 5 in the United Kingdom.

After this success, Bruno Quartier left the project.

The remaining duo of Emmanuel Top and Bruno Sanchioni then released the single Flash, which also achieved great success by reaching the Top 5 of the British charts, riding the dream-house wave alongside artists like Sash! and Robert Miles.

The project went on hiatus for a few years after these successes, before reforming in 2001 to build a new studio in Lille, France.

Their first album, titled *Games*, was released in 1998, one year after the compilation *Early Works* released by ZYX Records in 1997.

Alongside B.B.E., Emmanuel Top pursues a solo career with productions on labels such as NovaMute and Le Petit Prince.
