Alex Salem
Biography
Alex Salem is a producer and songwriter working across House, Afro House, Chill, Pop and Dance. Based in Alsace with deep roots in Tunisia, he draws on this dual geography to shape an aesthetic built around organic grooves, warm textures and a Mediterranean colour running through his work.
His universe sits at the crossroads of afro influences and contemporary electronic sounds, bringing together percussion, deep basslines, pads and evocative vocals.
Over the course of his journey, he has collaborated with international artists, including Edward Maya. His recent releases have come out on Soave Records, Loudkult (which also produces Vinai) and Sudam Records, an Ibiza-based Afro House label. He also shows a strong interest in the revival of Romanian Popcorn music.
In parallel, he develops other Dance projects: Miradey .
