Aleksander Walmann

Aleksander Walmann is a Norwegian singer and songwriter, born in Porsgrunn in 1986. Coming from a very musical family, he started singing and playing guitar early on, with music remaining a central part of his identity throughout his life.

From the age of 19, he was part of the international snowboarding scene, competing and taking part in filming.

In 2012, he joined the first season of the Norwegian version of The Voice, reaching the finale and finishing in 2nd place. This kick-started his music career and helped him build a broad network within the Norwegian music industry.

After the show, he actively pursued a career in music, working with a number of producers and artists while evolving as a songwriter and performing artist. He has also been a support act for established artists such as Sondre Lerche, Thom Hell, and Sivert Høyem, alongside his own concerts and bookings for festivals, weddings, and events.

In March 2017, he joined JOWST on stage at Oslo Spectrum and won the Norwegian final. With the song Grab the Moment, JOWST feat. Aleksander represented Norway in the international final of Eurovision 2017.
