4 Tune Fairytales

4 Tune Fairytales

Biography

The group 4 Tune Fairytales was formed in 1996. It is a dance act signed to the label Pengo Records.

The collective is composed of several members, including Lilian Van Sonsbeek, Patrick Bakker, and Richard Van Enteren. Lilian Van Sonsbeek is the singer and also writes the group’s lyrics. The original lineup also included a rapper and two dancers.

Their musical style is associated with happy hardcore, rave, hardcore, gabber, and eurodance, genres typical of the Dutch electronic scene of the 1990s.

The group achieved some success with the singles My Little Fantasy and Take Me To Wonderland. They performed at events like the Dancefestival Mysteryland in Eindhoven.

After two singles that did not meet the expected success, the group seemed to fade from the scene, before making a notable comeback in 2007 with a live performance at Rainbow Rave in Germany.

The project is also known by several spelling variations of its name, such as 4 Tune Fairy Tales, 4-Tune Fairytales, 4TF, or Fortune Fairytales.
