Chris Garcia

Biography

Chris Garcia started DJing at a very young age and moved to Las Vegas in 2004, becoming a skilled turntablist within a few years. Known as “the Frenchie,” he went from jet-set parties to club residencies, notably at Drai’s, and performed across the United States.

Originally from Arles and the son of a local DJ, he developed an early passion for decks and honed his technique through the nights he hosted. In Las Vegas, he joined the 702dj.com collective through Brian Lorenz. He multiplied his sets, met major names in house music, and collaborated on a few productions with Faarsheed.

A meeting with Christian Lester, manager of Laurent Wolf, led to a deal with the Darkness label. As his Monday nights at the Mirage in Las Vegas drew large crowds, he released his first maxi “In de Guetto” in 2008. In early 2010, he achieved international success with The Rhythm of the Night, a cover borrowed from Corona, released via Universal.
