Biography
The project Alb Negru is one of the oldest on the Romanian music scene, formed by artists Kamara Ghedi and Andrei Ștefănescu.
The duo made their debut in 2004 on the stage of the Mamaia festival, where they quickly distinguished themselves with their unique style.
Two years later, they returned to the same stage with the song Hello (My Muse), which earned them the “Mădălin Voicu” prize for artistic excellence.
In 2007, in collaboration with the musical project Todomondo, Alb Negru won the national final of the Eurovision Song Contest and represented Romania in Helsinki, placing 13th.
Their career is marked by a discography including 5 studio albums and numerous singles, as well as collaborations with important figures of the local scene such as Andra, What's Up, Paula Seling, and Horia Brenciu.
One of their most prolific collaborations was with Ralflo & Rareș, with whom they released over 11 tracks.
After many years of continuous activity, the group remains a symbol of friendship and passion for music.
The story of Kamara Ghedi and Andrei Ștefănescu continues with the same energy that characterized them from the start.
