Subsequently, he released records on labels such as Dessous Recordings, Morris / Audio, Tangent Beats and Affected Music, with planned releases on Shva Muzik, Immigrant and Deeplay.

In collaboration with his cousin Jesper Dahlbäck, he launched the Dahlbäck Records label. After evolving from techno to more house-oriented sounds, he founded the Pickadoll Records and Mutants Records labels. More recently, he created his solo label Bajonett.

John Dahlbäck is also active under several pseudonyms, including Huggotron, Hug, Kaliber, Jetboy (2) and Demure (5), through which he explores different facets of electronic music. His musical style falls into the progressive house and EDM genres.
