Bixx

BiXX is the stage name of Bob Bickert, an American trance DJ and music producer, as well as an entrepreneur, business owner, and mentor. He lives in Mobile, Alabama (USA), and also spends a lot of time in Amsterdam to work on his music skills. On his artist social media platforms, he runs the “Mentoring Monday” video series to inspire and help others become more successful.

He describes his music as uplifting, melodic, and highly emotional trance. His songwriting approach is to turn life’s most beautiful experiences into an emotional, uplifting, melodic form, often featuring “angelic” breakdowns and soft melodic builds leading to big drops.

His Beatport Top 10 hits have included Marvelous Universe, Flight of Life, Above the Clouds, Yes I Can, Still We Rise, Face Your Fears, Unbroken, Purpose, After Dark, Nowhere Left to Hide (BiXX Remix), Calm Before the Storm (BiXX Remix), and Trance at the Opera. His two #1 tracks are Still We Rise and Victoria.

New releases in 2023 include Anthems of Life, Elation, and Sinfonia, plus a vocal track with Natalie Gioia in collaboration with Darren Porter, as well as Take the Risk and The Sky’s the Limit. He is also working on a new project with Ana Criado.

BiXX is working on a new album called The Voice of Reason, targeted for release in 2024. He aims to travel the world playing gigs, building connections with fans, other DJs, and promoters, with the idea that music is the vehicle and inspiration is the message. Based on Beatport sales and Spotify streams, he has been among the most successful new trance producers worldwide over the last four years.
