Biography

Vanni Giorgilli, known as Vanni G, was born on November 11, 1973, in Fiuggi, Italy. His life has been shaped by music, from studying classical piano to starting his DJ career in his teens.


At 14, he began mixing in clubs and quickly became a key figure in the nightlife scene of central Italy. He also took first place in the DMC DJ Championships.


Using a sampler and a computer, he moved into producing electronic music. His first hit, Harekrisna, was released in 1994 under the pseudonym Iskon.


In 1997, he founded Subside Records, a label that enabled him to collaborate with Do It Yourself and to produce artists such as Carolina Márquez, Molella, and Regina. He also created numerous remixes.


His label expanded to include three studios and a publishing company, Vanni G Music. His style, oriented toward club and party music, earned him national recognition.


He reached a major milestone by taking part in the 52nd edition of the Sanremo Festival as the songwriter, arranger, and producer of Batte Forte for the group Lollipop.
