Maxim Schunk
Biography
Maxim Schunk, whose real name is Maximilian Schunk, is a German DJ and producer born in Ratingen.
He started making music at age 6 on the piano, inspired by his mother. At 14 he moved into digital production and later further developed his skills at Wuppertal’s music school.
In 2018 he collaborated with Raven & Kreyn and BISHØP on My Name, a cover of Destiny’s Child praised by Beatport as “undeniably infectious”. The track was supported by artists such as Avicii, Don Diablo, and Tiësto, and reached 4 million Spotify streams.
After a short break in 2021, he returned with Lost In You, co-produced with Harris & Ford, earning 12 million streams. More collaborations followed, including Sing It Back and OMG, each accumulating millions of streams.
In 2022, his rendition of Lay All Your Love On Me (an ABBA cover) surpassed 40 million listens.
