Biography

Belgian producer and composer Ludovic Charlier performs under the name TBM DJ.

He is also known by the aliases Dancephonic and Trancephonic, mainly active in the italodance scene.

His passion for music production began in 1998 with consumer software; he later turned to more advanced tools like FL Studio to realize his ideas.

His professional career truly began in 2005 when he sent a demo to the Austrian label ARC-Records, leading to his first commission: a remix of the track I Had a Dream.

That remix was selected for the compilation “Super Austria” released by Universal Music, providing his first international exposure.

Following that success, ARC-Records asked him for a new remix of Star, which received wide radio play across Europe and Asia.

He went on to produce remixes for notable artists in the genre such as Fabrizio E Marco, Deep. Spirit and Emixfair.

In 2006 he collaborated with Danijay on “Oui C’est L’Amour” and “The Night Before”, tracks that entered the top ten of dance charts on many Italian and European radio stations.

In 2007 Warner Music commissioned him to remix the song “I Want to Be Happy” by Chinese pop star A-Mei, extending his influence into Asia.

In 2008 his remix of Ragazza 2.8 became a hit, featured on compilations like “Super Italia Vol.28” and holding top chart positions for more than three weeks.

Over his career, his productions have been included on numerous compilations and albums worldwide.
