Will Ferrell, born John William Ferrell, is an American actor, comedian, producer, and screenwriter born on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California.

He rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a cast member on the sketch show Saturday Night Live on NBC. His film career includes notable comedies such as A Night at the Roxbury, Old School, Elf, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro, and The Other Guys.

He is considered part of the “Frat Pack”, a generation of major Hollywood comedians emerging in the late 1990s and 2000s, alongside artists like Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, and the brothers Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson.

In the musical domain, he is notably associated with the song Double Trouble (Tiësto's Euro 90s Tribute Remix), released in 2020.
