Intermission

Biography

Intermission is a German Eurodance project that was popular in the 1990s. All Intermission productions were created by the DMP (Dance Music Production) production team, made up of Michael Eisele (also known as Attack II), Thorsten Adler, Tom Keil (aka Tom Jacques G. Coin) and lyricist Nosie Katzmann.

The project is especially associated with the charismatic singer Lori Glori (real name Lori Hölzel), who brought a distinctive groove to the tracks. She provided vocals on the singles Give Peace A Chance and Six Days, then returned for the final single Blow Your Mind in 1997, which also featured DJ M.A.R.S.S..

The project’s first single, Honesty, was performed by vocalist Nina Gerhard. The next single, Piece Of My Heart, was sung by Valerie Scott. These tracks were compiled on the album Piece Of My Heart, released in 1994.

The track Planet Love (1995) was performed by Raquel Gomez, known for her collaboration on River by Public Art. Producer Giora Schein, known for his work with Captain Hollywood Project, also took part in the Intermission project.
