Biography
PollyAnna is a singer-songwriter born and raised in the Netherlands. She started out on her own, spending years playing with just her guitar on street corners and in small bars.
In the winter of 2014, she recorded her first full-length album, Indigo, built around stories from her travels. The songs for Indigo were written in Greece, Austria, Finland, Lithuania, and Australia. The album was officially released in April.
Her single Sing was picked up by Giel Beelen, who tipped her as a promise for “The Sound of 2015”. From there, things moved quickly: supporting Maria Mena and Sam Smith, being named “Radio 3FM Serious Talent”, playing The Great Escape in Brighton, and performing at Pinkpop.
Her music ranges from quiet singer-songwriter songs to more danceable electronic material, while keeping an emphasis on acoustic guitar.
