Pink Planet
Biography
Pink Planet, also known as the IMPP project (Imprezive Meets Pink Planet), is a German-Swedish music project working in hard trance and hands up.
The project was founded in 2012. Originally, “Imprezive” was a former DJ name of Niklas Adolfsson and laid the foundation for a new identity. Together with the original member Steffi Ciborski (aka Aurora), a brainstorming session led to the name “Pink Planet”. By combining the two names, the project became “Imprezive Meets Pink Planet”.
Their career began on the well-known Hamburg label Tunnel Records, which ceased operations in early 2015. In mid-2015, the group signed with Sonic Flash Records, where it remains under contract.
Since October 2015, the project has featured a new line-up and now consists of three members: Anna-Patricia Thomsen (aka Toxic), Niklas Adolfsson (aka Hardcharger) and Sascha Ortmann (aka Sushi).
From the outset, the project recorded its first single, I Can't Believe It, with singer Lyane Leigh, known for her work with E-Rotic. Pink Planet also collaborated with other singers such as Elysha (aka Linda Meek), who enjoyed notable success in the 1990s with projects like E-Rotic and Maxx. A special collaboration also took place with the singer of the band Bering Strait, nominated for Grammy Awards in 2003.
