DJ Manian
Biography
DJ Manian, real name Manuel Reuter, is a German dance and house producer, born on July 7, 1978 in Bonn.
He began his DJ career in 1995 at the age of 17. After starting studies in public economics at the University of Bonn in 2000, he quit in 2002 to devote himself entirely to music. It was during this period that he met Sven Petersen, who became his mentor, and Yann Peifer, better known by the pseudonym Yanou, who would become his partner on many projects.
He is best known as the creator of the dance group Cascada, formed in 2004 after meeting singer Natalie Horler, and is also a member of the project Spencer & Hill.
In October 2005 he founded, with Yanou, the label Zooland Records, which includes two subdivisions: ZooGroove, dedicated to house and electro releases, and ZooDigital for digital-only publications.
Today he is responsible for mastering demos for independent artists and producers on the labels Zooland Records, Playbox Music and Kontor Records.
