Magic Box

Magic Box is the stage name of Italian pop-dance artist Tristano De Bonis, also known by the diminutive Trix.

Born in Fondi on 3 February 1976, he is the brother of singer Erika. He began very young, at age 18, as a DJ for parties and nightclubs, already blending his voice with various instruments such as guitar, bass and drums.

His frequent travels to England, the Netherlands and Germany allowed him to build a new network of contacts within the music scene. It was during this period that he specialized in dance music, a genre he perceived at the time as “new”.

In August 2004, Magic Box, accompanied by his sister Erika and DJ Ross, performed at the Planet Pop Festival organized by the Brazilian label Records Building at the Via Funchal in São Paulo, before over 10,000 spectators.

He reappeared in April 2005 for the third edition of Planet Pop, again alongside DJ Ross and Erika.
