Biography
Highup, real name David, is a DJ and producer of Dance Pop and Electro from the Gold Coast in Australia. His musical style, sometimes associated with hypertechno, is marked by powerful drops with heavy bass, electro energy, and a fusion of genres, navigating between explosive EDM and electro-house.
He has released tracks on prestigious labels such as Musical Freedom, Smash The House, and Revealed. His collaboration Disco Nights with Reverse Prime and Discotek was released on the label 2Dutch by Showtek and Marcel Woods. In 2020, Big Bad Doof with Bombs Away marked the start of the year, while Okay Okay reached high positions in the ARIA and Beatport charts. Other tracks like Listen Up, Kill The Game, and Seeing Red have received support from renowned artists such as Showtek, R3hab, Timmy Trumpet, Nicky Romero, Brooks, Will Sparks, Phlegmatic Dogs, Komes, Uberjak'd, and DJCity.com.
