Biography
Dee Dee is a Belgian dance and vocal trance music project, launched in 2001 by producers Christophe Chantzis, Erik Vanspauwen and Tommie Kidjemet, with singer Diana Trippaers on vocals.
The single Forever, released on vinyl on 19 July 2001, was initially a low-profile club track before achieving major success by entering the Belgian dance chart straight at number 3.
The track’s popularity, supported by vinyl sales and plays by DJs around the world, led to demand for a CD release.
The producers also released remixes under the name Dee Dee without Diana Trippaers’ involvement. Since 2012, Diana Trippaers has used the name Dee Dee for her solo releases and live appearances.
