2 Eivissa

Biography

2 Eivissa is a Eurodance project created by the Hispano-German production team Team 33, consisting of Ambrogio Crotti, Luis Rodrigues Salazar, David Granados Lacera and Luigi Ricco.

The first album, titled Oh La La La, featured vocalists Terri Bjerre and Jobel (singer Lian Ross) as the main performers. The title track included the voices of Terri Bjerre and Patrizia Grier, and singer Melannie Molinnus appears on that track as well as on Move Your Body.

In 1999 Terri Bjerre left the project and was replaced by Jobel (Lian Ross). On-stage live performances were handled until 2000 by Jane and Francine, known as 2 Blond Bandits.

Under the alias 2 Eivissa, Jobel (Lian Ross) recorded hits such as I Wanna Be Your Toy, Move Your Body (Tu Tu Tu Tu Ta, Oh La) and (The) Meaning Of My Life; other singles include Viva La Fiesta, Amigo, El Peloton and Bad Girl. The project was relaunched by Team 33 in 2007, who produced the single Hot Summer Night (Oh La La La) for artist David Tavaré, using a vocal sample from the original Oh La La La by 2 Eivissa.
