G-Spott

G-Spott is a Dutch electronic music project primarily driven by producer Richard van Schooneveld. The style is described as uplifting house with a happy vibe.

The project achieved notable success with tracks like No Comment and Louder in 2003, followed by City Streets in 2005 and Sadness in 2006. These productions helped make G-Spott one of the best-known Dutch dance acts.

Alongside G-Spott, Richard van Schooneveld produced for other artists, notably the globally known DJ DJ Jean, for whom he produced the tracks Every Single Day and Feel It, and he also created remixes for Italian DJ and producer Mauro Picotto.

Richard van Schooneveld’s increasing commitment to his other international project, Richard Durand, led to a gradual withdrawal from the G-Spott scene. He explained that the weekend-long international tours for Richard Durand made it impossible to continue focusing on G-Spott as before.

He clarified, however, that future G-Spott productions would still be handled by him, while the project’s public face was set to change. The project also counts M.D. Kerkhoff among its members.
