Tube Tonic

Tube Tonic is a trance DJ and producer from Hamburg, Germany; his real name is André Pietschmann.

Known for the single Tube Tonic & DJ Shandar, he is regarded as one of the country’s most versatile DJs and producers.

With his partner David Kehl he created projects such as Tube Tonic & DJ Shandar, Punkrockerz, Primax, Eternia and Die Hoerer. Under the Tube Tonic alias he focuses mainly on dance and hard trance.

His first track, Brainstorm, released on Lengo Records, quickly became a worldwide club hit and entered the sets of the biggest hard trance DJs. The next release, The Secret, marked his move to Mental Madness and became one of the club anthems of the year, notable for surprising sales and lasting playlist presence.

In August 2008 he released SUNRISE, accompanied by an international remix package that immediately impacted charts and DJ sets. His latest collaborative single, Take Control (a cover of Flug auf dem Glücksdragon), is a lasting success with remixes including Dream Dance Alliance.

Looking ahead, Tube Tonic will continue the project solo: his first solo single, Try, is scheduled for mid-May and will be supported by remixes from Alex Megane and DJ Space Raven, already among the most anticipated tracks of the spring.

He has an extensive list of credits, with many remixes and projects in Germany and abroad. In clubs Tube Tonic is known for his closeness to the audience, hosting skills and eclectic musical selection.
