
Absolom
Biography
Absolom was an active musical project between 1997 and 2001, led by producer and musician Christophe Chantzis.
Christophe Chantzis, also known for his involvement in other electronic music projects such as DJ Jan, DJ Glenn, Astroline and Ian Van Dahl, collaborated in the studio within Absolom with Jimmy Goldschmitz to create several tracks, including the hits “Secret”, “Where”, “The Air” and “Baby Boomers”.
On stage the project featured Christophe Chantzis on keyboards, singer Pascale Feront and two dancers, Cindy and Ellen; later Ellen joined Praga Khan.
Christophe Chantzis also produced remixes for Absolom, working on tracks by Belgian dance acts such as Fiocco, Zohra and X-Session, as well as international acts like Future Breeze, Komakino, Organ and the Swedish group Ace of Base.
