
Rhéa
Biography
Rhéa is the stage name of Rita Laranjeira. She lives in Sintra. She studied at the Sintra Music Conservatory, where she completed basic education in violin, orchestra, music training and choir.
She attended Stagedoor, taking classes in Ensemble (Diogo Beatriz Santos), Acting Through Song (Sara Teixeira), Interpretation (André Lourenço), Jazz Dance and casting techniques (JP Costa), and Contemporary Dance (David Bernardino). She also did workshops at EDSAE and other training programs, including a musical theatre course with Wanda Stuart (Kids on Broadway project), a musical theatre workshop at Act School with Sissi Martins, fashion/casting/acting at ProModel, and acting and TV performance training at Modact with director Paulo Brito.
She studied singing and piano at Academia Atelier da Música, working with Filipe Neves, Aleixo Franco and José Liaça. She served as an additional member of Coro Juvenil de Lisboa in operas and staged concerts at Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, CCB and the Coliseus, under Maestro Nuno Margarido Lopes.
In 2018, she represented Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus. In 2020, she took part in The Voice and reached the final stage of the live shows.
