Mathilde SPZ
Biography
Mathilde SPZ is a Norwegian artist, notably associated with taking part in Melodi Grand Prix 2024, specifically in the first semi-final of that edition, with the song Woman Show. On stage, she performed together with Chris Archer and Slam Dunk.
She launches her solo project with the aim of inspiring people to be themselves, inviting the audience to join her own journey toward becoming the person she has always felt she was: “the quirky diva in tons of colors,” while challenging the “jantelov.”
Over the last ten years, Mathilde SPZ has been one of the most in-demand live artists in Norway’s event market. She has performed at major festivals in the country, including Øya, Stavern, Slottsfjell and Findings.
As a songwriter, she started at the age of 9 writing singer-songwriter pop, while her own project leans more toward electronic music, including Edm, House and Dance. Her first solo single was released in September 2022.
A debut EP titled “Quiet Confidence” is announced for November 2026, drawing inspiration from the Swedish dance scene and 1990s influences, alongside raw emotions.
