Clock

Clock

Biography

Clock was a British dance and Europop music project created in 1993 by DJ and producer Stu Allan and Peter Pritchard. Their idea, presented to the Media Records label, gave rise to one of the most iconic pop-dance groups of the 1990s.

The first single, Holding On, featured singer Ann-Marie Smith. Due to its success, a more permanent lineup was created to record and perform. Various performers toured under the name Clock, including Lorna Saunders on Everybody, Alison Williamson on Rhythm, and Georgia Lewis on Keep The Fires Burning.

From 1994 onwards, the project stabilized with the arrival of two full-time members, leading to multiple successes in the UK Top 20. Other notable members and collaborators included Beverley Skeete, Marcus Thomas, Segun Peters, and Thomas Paul.

The project was also active under the aliases Made Up and The X-Club. The Clock adventure ended in 2000.
