Biography

Nicholas Daniel Miller, known by the stage name Illenium, is an American electronic music producer and DJ born on December 26, 1990 in San Francisco.
He moved to Denver, Colorado in 2013 after starting his music production in 2008.
Although his main project is personal, he occasionally uses the alias Nicholas Miller (4).

His style blends melodic dubstep with bass and melody lines, categorizing him in the melodic dubstep, future bass, and EDM genres.
Based in Denver, Illenium is a key figure in electronic crossover, with billions of streams and numerous tracks topping US dance charts.

His career took off with his debut album ‘Ashes’ (2016).
The following album, ‘Awake’ (2017), expanded his audience with classics like Crawl Outta Love, Fractures and the collaboration Feel Good with Gryffin and Daya, dominating electronic iTunes charts worldwide.
In 2019, ‘Ascend’, his third album and first on a major label, reached number one on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums and the top 20 of the Billboard 200.
Its standout tracks include Takeaway with the Chainsmokers and Lennon Stella, Good Things Fall Apart with Jon Bellion, Crashing with Bahari, In Your Arms with X Ambassadors, and Take You Down, which addresses his past struggles with drug addiction.

Recognized by Billboard as one of the best dance/electronic artists of the 2010s, Illenium is also famous for his energetic stage performances.
He has performed at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and EDC.
His Ascend Tour (2019), featuring a five-piece live band, sold out prestigious venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center, and three consecutive nights at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
