Rikah

Born in Canada, Rikah grew up in Toronto in a family immersed in rock ‘n’ roll. At the age of five, she made her stage debut at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, performing a duet with her mother. Her artistic journey began very early, writing her first song at seven and recording her first compositions in her father’s studio.

Her immersion in the rave scene as a teenager was pivotal, allowing her to find her passion by layering her voice over house, techno, and trance rhythms. She notably collaborated with the label CAPP Records in Las Vegas starting in 2006. She is also known under the alias Merika Hunter.

Her vocal approach fuses jazz and lyrical influences, creating a unique contrast with the energetic electronic rhythms. She describes her work as being guided by singing and a wellness-oriented approach, seeking to uplift her audience through the power of melodies. She currently resides in Maui, Hawaii.

She expresses her gratitude to her producers, Oscar Salguero, Will Stuart, and Cary August, for their essential support in her musical journey.
