She collaborated with Martin Garrix on the single Told You So, introduced as a dance-pop track. The collaboration reportedly began after Martin Garrix discovered a TikTok video of Jex singing a snippet of the vocal melody, which led him to develop the song with her.
To complete Told You So, they reportedly worked 178 hours, using 301 channels, 161 plugins, and 125 mix tracks. Jex described the song as “authentic” and “special,” saying she was excited for it to finally be out in the world.
