
Lolo Ferrari
Biography
Lolo Ferrari, born Ève Valois (1963, Clermont-Ferrand – 2000, Grasse), was a French dancer, actress and singer, famous for her record-breaking breast implants which made her an icon of the 1990s.
Influenced by Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe, Amanda Lear and Coccinelle, she performed in cabarets and nightclubs. Her notoriety was amplified by her appearances on the British TV show “Eurotrash”.
Her musical career includes the Eurodance single Airbag Generation (1996, remixed by Dominic Sas and Serge Ramaekers), as well as three unreleased tracks: “Dance Dance Dance”, a cover of Thelma Houston’s Don't Leave Me This Way, and “Set Me Free” (credited to “Lolo Ferrari The silicone girls”).
She died at her home on the French Riviera, her death ultimately established as a suicide by drug overdose.
