Starting Rock

Biography

The Starting Rock project consists of two French DJs and producers, Stephane Tedesco and Hedi Banon, also known as Hédi Banon & Stéphane Tedesco.

They are also identified under the alias Enzo Mori & Stephan Clark. Hailing from Paris, their childhood was immersed in the sounds of 80s electro-pop, a major influence that shaped their musical path.

Captivated by bands like Depeche Mode and New Order, they spent many hours behind the decks and digging through Parisian record stores in search of rare musical gems.

Their meeting with singer Diva Avari occurred during one of their club sets abroad. Both collaborators were immediately charmed by her voice.

At that time, they were specifically looking for a singer to cover the famous Yazoo track, Don't Go. Avari’s voice perfectly matched the spirit they were seeking.

This single proved to be a success, dominating dance floors and receiving excellent feedback from DJs worldwide. Their music is associated with the club, dance, techno, electronica, and euro genres.
