Biography

Silver Pozzoli, real name Silvio “Silver” Pozzoli, is an Italian singer born in Milan on July 19, 1953. A major figure in Italo Disco, he was active between 1985 and 1994, lending his characteristic voice to many hits of the genre.

Versatile and experienced in the studio, he explored different aspects of dance electronic music, also working under the pseudonym Club House for dance and italo-house projects, such as the medley “I’m a man medley Yeke Yeke” in 1987.

He is notably known for lending his voice to several tracks by Den Harrow, thus contributing to the characteristic sound of this iconic artist. Among his greatest personal successes are classics such as Around My Dream, Step By Step, Chica Boom, With Or Without You and Don't Forget Me.

His style, associated with Italo Disco, also extends to dance and Hi-NRG. Active under his own name and under the alias Sylver, his career is rooted in Italian electronic music production of the 80s and early 90s.
