Hypetraxx
Biography
Hypetraxx is a German music project in house and trance, founded in 1993 by DJ Frank Kuchinke and producer Sean Dexter (Cengiz Özmaden). Frank Kuchinke is the main member. The project was produced by Sean Dexter (1999-2000) and by Ugly Kid Jay (1996-1997, then from 2001 onwards). It is best known for the dark trance track The Darkside (1999), featuring a 6/8 rhythm. Its style encompasses trance, electronic music, dance, techno, hard trance, and happy hardcore. Spelling variants: Hypertrahh, Hypertrax, Hypertraxx, Hypetrax, Hyptraxx.
