Mihaela Marinova
Biography
Mihaela Marinova is a Bulgarian artist, finalist of the third season of The X Factor Bulgaria and winner of several awards, considered one of the most iconic voices in the country.
She is part of the major music label Virginia Records. Since the start of her professional career in 2015, each of her singles has reached the top of the Bulgarian charts, including her groundbreaking debut single Stapka Napred. In 2016, this song earned her several awards at the Annual Music Awards, including ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Breakthrough’, and ‘Video of the Year’.
Her most successful collaboration is with the Bulgarian hip-hop duo Pavell & Venci Venc' for the track Listata Padat. She also collaborated with the successful producer Monoir for the song Tiempo in November 2018. Following the success of this track, a second studio session resulted in the co-written song Now or Never. The Bulgarian version of this piece, Samo Teb, was released in August and immediately reached the top 3 of the Bulgarian charts.
Mihaela Marinova is the winner of the show ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar: Bulgaria’ (season 5) and is the Bulgarian voice behind the main character of the famous Disney production Moana.
