Biography
Sarah West is a singer-songwriter and musician from Denmark.
She has sung for as long as she can remember, and started playing guitar and piano and writing songs at the age of eight.
At eighteen, she uses her singing and writing to connect with and inspire her audience. She has collaborated with people associated with labels such as EMI, Disney, and Universal Music Denmark.
She writes and composes across several styles including pop, soul, and R’n’B, both for her own project and for other Danish bands. She describes her personal approach as singer-songwriter pop with an R’n’B touch, with a strong focus on inspiration and the emotion she wants to convey through her music.
Her songs include Rainy Day, First Choice, and On the Doorstep. She also wrote Tag min Hånd for the Danish aid organization Girltalk.
Not to be confused with the namesake artist Sarah West, a cellist.
