Biography
Alle Farben, real name Frans Zimmer, is a German DJ and producer born on July 5, 1985 in Berlin. He grew up in the Kreuzberg district, where he still lives and works. After high school, his attempt to study art failed, leading him to take on various jobs, including working as a pastry chef.
He began DJing in 2010 at Berlin nightclubs. His stage name, initially ‘Hundert Farben’, was inspired by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and later changed to ‘Alle Farben’. His breakthrough came on May 9, 2012, performing for 30,000 people at Berlin’s former Tempelhof airport.
He is now a constant touring artist, performing across Europe and in Tel Aviv. Signed to the Berlin-based label Kallias, he worked on his first album from September 2013 to May 2014. His electronic music style draws from minimal techno, characteristic of the Berlin scene.
