Martin Van Lectro
Biography
Martin Van Lectro is a DJ, producer, remixer, and songwriter based in Vienna, Austria.
His interest in music started early: at the age of eight he began playing the piano, and a little later he also took up drums. The many facets of electronic music reignited his passion, and his first own productions soon followed.
His solo single Never Know, released in February 2016, caught Universal Music’s attention and led to a signing shortly afterwards. A year later he founded his own label, #Lectronation, and went on to release tracks including Let It Go (feat. Menno), I’ll Be There for You, Kangaroo, Last Man Standing (feat. Chris Willis), and Run. In summer 2020 he released Night & Day, described as an anthem to life and love, continuing this run of success and highlighting his diversity.
He is also active under the alias Martin Koniarik, another name used for his musical work.
