Secondtunez
Biography
Secondtunez is a Swedish electronic music duo formed in 2006. The project brings together Johannes Gustafsson on vocals and Alexander Lager handling production and MCing.
After starting out in dance music, Secondtunez moved toward the hands up movement. In 2007 the duo wrote Sommaren är här igen, described as a turning point in their career, and in May 2007 signed with Warner Music Denmark. Warner Music released the track and, two months later, it reached No. 6 on the official charts and No. 3 on the radio chart in Denmark.
Their first concert took place in front of 25,000 people at the Radio ABC Beach Party. Later releases included Jag går i säng med min lærere and Du & Jag.
In 2009, the duo signed to the German label Aqualoop Records and released Summer the same year, which reached No. 46 on the German charts. Over roughly three years of activity, Secondtunez played around 120 concerts.
Afterwards, Secondtunez House produces under the name Qulinez.
