Verano
Biography
Verano is a collective of DJs and electronic music producers from the Ruhr region in Germany.
The project was founded in 2005 by Dennis Nicholls with his friends Marco Stork and Stefan Richly. In 2007, Dennis Nicholls left the group due to his work for the Zooland Records label. Other members of the collective are Marco Juliano and Timo Erlenbruch.
Since the mid-2000s, the collective has been known for its numerous club tracks and countless remixes for established artists such as Cascada, C-Bool, Dario G, Alex Megane, Sven-R-G vs. Bass-T, Franky Tunes, or Lazard. Their musical palette covers various electronic styles such as dance, trance, house, electro, jumpstyle, and hardstyle.
In addition to their DJ and producer activities, the members of Verano are involved in charitable actions. Since 2006, they have organized the “Rosenmontags Benefiz Rave” annually, a benefit event taking place on Carnival Monday at the “360Grad” nightclub in Bochum, to help children in need.
The collective has also released productions under other names, notably the aliases Rio & Juliano and 2 Playa'z.
