The Tamperer is an Italian dance and house music project formed in the late 1990s by producers Alex Farolfi and Mario Fargetta.
The project is primarily known for its hit singles, notably the number-one track Feel It and its 1999 follow-up If You Buy This Record (Your Life Will Be Better). Singer Maya Days, known as Maya, provided vocals on these two landmark tracks, which sometimes led to the group being referenced as The Tamperer featuring Maya.
The project’s musical style is rooted in the late 1990s dance and house currents, with a touch of Italo dance. Their production is characterized by driving rhythms and catchy melodies, typical of the era.
